Any of you guys been to Telluride? I have a friend that might be able to hook me up with some discounted lift passes.

The only catch is that its far from pretty much every airport that I've seen.

Telluride is amazing from what I hear, but I have never been. I likely won't make it this season as it a 6 hour drive from Denver

I think Telluride is the coolest town in CO. It's the best ski town, and is even a blast in the summer. Awesome nightlife, great wining/dining.

It's a great ski mountain, but not always consistent snowfall.

You can fly into Montrose, CO, which is only an hour away, but with added expense. I've flown into Alberquerque, NM, and it was only a 3 hour drive or so, if I remember correctly.

All that being said, its expensive as frick in Telluride.

(BTW, I have skied Sun Valley, ID, Snowbird/Alta, UT, and just about every resort in CO (Keystone, Copper, Breck, Vail, Beaver Creek, Steamboat,Winter Park) multiple times.)
