Yeah yeah.. Bah hum bug, get off my lawn..all that crap. I get 99% of the OT is happy to see it go but I genuinely love this time of year and all it brings with lights and decorations everywhere you go and even the music (in moderation).. Just kinda look forward to it all year especially starting around September/October and just like that it's gone.

Nah, the same way. Not really depressed but it's a definite drop off in the mood.

it definetly is a kind of a letdown when all of the visiting and seeing your loved ones is over and everyone heads back home to their own lives...

During christmas I always think about loved ones that are now gone...when christmas is over, my thoughts shift to hoping that everyone is still around for next year's holiday...

I'm with you. I enjoy everything about Christmas. The family, lights, celebration, and time. I always get a little down when it's over. It's over in a snap after all the build up and preparations.

No, my entire family is like this, so we always extend the holidays & are together the week after Christmas as well. Usually, we plan a little get away or some other activity. Bowl games are always a big deal, so that helps. Also, we keep our decorations up through New Year's.

If I had 100,000 automated Christmas lights to take down and organize I'd get very depressed.

Not really. I enjoy family time, although our extended family is very small. After Christmas
, I get excited for the new year and all the football games. Tomorrow we are driving to surprise my elderly parents with a 5 day visit.

It's the "adult" in us, I think. For a while Christmas brings out the kid in us again, fun and family and friends, then Bam! Back to the everyday land of the grownups.

Quite the opposite.

I'm ready to go for 2015. Let's get buff, run a marathon, and make that extra cash.
