I'd rather have a program that is best positioned for future success and the one that averages 2 losses a year rather than the one who averages 4.
Aside from the Prayer at Jordan-Hare and Kick Six, Auburn has posted records of 8-4, 7-5, and 3-9. But they're a Top 5 program because they outbid MSST for Cam Newton....

no. they're a top 5 team because they have 2 sec championship trophies and 1 crystal ball in their trophy case while LSU has only 1 sec trophy and the most embarrassing loss in a BCS title game ever over the same span.
what have you seen this year that makes you think LSU is better positioned for future success than auburn anyway? I see nothing other than LSU not losing as many upperclassmen after this season. I guarantdamntee you that auburn will still be much more productive on offense next year than an AJ led LSU offense. never mind that they hired a new defensive coordinator recently that has had pretty good success in the sec.
