I get it but a MBA starts at like $1K - I'm guessing i could get a PC that's comperable for half that.

Yeah I dunno. That's more Color Changing's department.

I just wanted to point out that with Parallells you don't have to fool with booting in and out of sessions Bootcamp. Windows runs within and along side your OSX session. Really works seamlessly

FYI you might get a more powerful PC for half the price of the macbook air, but thin, light, and long battery life is still going to cost you. Doesn't mean the air is the only solution, but it's pretty high up there in battery life. I posted a comparison chart of the $899 macbook air vs some Ultrabook solutions that were cheaper and more powerful, but none of them beat the air in weight and battery life.
