Last Year's lineup overall was a good mix I thought. The Pretty Lights crowd made it easier to get closer to the stage for Outkast.

Hangout peaked in 2011. Ween on the beach was as good as it gets.

I take that back, he didn't headline.
But garbage? C'mon. Jack Johnson might not be the most exciting act but as far as an artist playing on a beach with the sun setting, Jack Johnson fits pretty well. It was the calm before the storm of Outkast.

For logistics they need to find a way to widen up the area by the 2nd biggest stage. The VIP part by that stage made a huge bottleneck at times. Most of the time I stayed by the Pizza Hut village with the ping pong table for those acts because it was easier to get to the Hangout Stage after.

I can't think of a better Sunday festival closing performance than Paul Simon.

That 2011 lineup is awesome. Hopefully Michael Franti comes back he's awesome live.

Such a stacked lineup.

if they don't get Michael McDonald and the Doobie Brothers, this year will be a total waste

Are you really defending Jack Johnson? Your pookah shell necklace must be cutting off your blood flow to your brain.

Anybody go to that late Bassnectar/Beats Antique show? A buddy of mien were all dosed up and got caught sneaking in twice before eventually finding a way. But the Boom Boom Tent was rowdy that night

Being posted up in a hammock on the beach with your girl and free beer 10 feet away? That's when you take a step away from being a snob and enjoy life for a second.

I didn't realize everyone got free beer and hammocks.

OK so you lucked out to VIP access. Obviously you are biased as opposed to someone who paid full price for Jack Johnson.
