Jim H. has probably over 30 million, you really think he's concerned about money? He won't make life changing decisions over 2 or 3 mil. he has enough money to do nothing, live where he is living, and be ok.

If this was a guy who's coming up the coaching ranks from a small school like central michigan or so, yes, that kind of money is to good to pass up. (2 or 3 million difference) We are talking about a guy who's made a ton of money playing and coaching. it's not as important to him.

If oakland offers him Six and he doesn't have to move his wife, who is happy where she is, you think that two million is going to be the deciding factor when he has 30 million banked? don't think so.

If the money meant that much to him, he would have jumped already.
