I know a guy that thinks the fluoride in the drinking water is put there to numb the masses to prevent uprisings like Soma in Brave New World.
Honestly won't drink most waters because he believes government is numbing his mind.
At restaurants I've seen him bring his own water.

There is fluoride in water but the amount is so far away from anything that would numb your mind it's hilarious
