That doesn't absolve him of blame though. It seemed like he got the players he targeted last summer. He didn't swing and miss then move on to plan B.
So that means he put together a roster of ill-fitting parts with little to no shooting. If he had to "win now," there were still other avenues available.

there were other options but Jrue was the best at the time. I'm not talking about the Tyreke signing.
