I'm going to ask, honestly, why it matters...Just clean it out..
Unless you store things there..

Can't say I've ever heard of a corrupted recycle bin Go to Backup and Restore and see if you have a restore point you can use

Why?
You think the issues disappear because you told your computer to pretend like its a few days earlier..?

If the problem occurred yesterday, then why isn't telling your computer to go back to they day before yesterday a suitable solution?

The issue could have been ongoing, and then hit you yesterday...Going back to the day before may be a quick fix, but you are just delaying the inevitable..

I guess I will ask, What exactly do you mean by "corrupted", does it not open? Are things not going in there when you delete them? You are not being very clear.

Ahh.. I guess I was thinking along the lines of doing something to specifically cause the corruption. I jack around with my computer at home all the time and have to use the system restore quite a bit. I like to umm... test stuff out.

Funny cause I've never heard of this till it happened to me on my mac last month. I just downloaded the TRASH IT app (not sure if compatible with windows) and it worked fine just fine.

Annoying pop up appears every time I delete something. Just making sure my computer is not infected and sending information somewhere I have no control of
