There is so much of this that just doesn't add up
I thought the ten years $10mm rumor for Saban was dumb. But I understood the importance of the Longhorn network, UTexas branding and national exposure kind of sort of made it make some sense but not really
6yr $49mm is retarded, especially at a rust belt school in the middle of a region with a dying economy and very little recruiting base to service it.
Buying out Hoke, paying Harbaugh and his high priced assistants and supporting a national recruiting budget seems like a large scale financial commitment the level of which they have never ever considered before. To say they want to pay Harbaugh with only school money doesn't seem legal and definitely seems like a fantasy
