Hackers usually use their method because they're not the type to confront anyone physically

What threat of violence would there be?

It's not like North Korea is going to send soldiers over to the US to shoot up movie theaters. The theaters are probably just scared of getting hacked themselves (which is probably a possibility).

It could be any violence, not necessarily from the hackers but from sympathizers and/or wackos! Just the possibility, no matter how remote, is problem for Sony/theaters.

Movie co. that owns theater in Colorado where the shooting spree occurred is embroiled in litigation for years to come.

Blame the hackers, but also blame the lawyers
