I know he was in charge of the country when that happened, but that number of people died a day of starvation when Mao was in charge. People in China largely don't starve to death these days. The only time I really saw truly starving people is from POS peddlers who crippled kids and elders to starve them so people would give them money. I never once gave them money (knowing what it was going to), but I'd always go to a local vendor and get them some food. Just wish the Chinese would execute the men that did that shite, but haven't heard of it, even though the same starving people were staked out at the same place at the same time every week.
