I didn't mean to say the Narnia movies were bad, but they have a more kiddie feel to them than what PJ was going for. Like you said, they aren't epic in feel.

Prince caspian didn't feel like a kids movie. The first sound of the movie was a woman screaming in pain and there was a massacre scene unit.
But I know what you mean about the hobbit. Feels lazy though.
