Honestly, BR is my 4th choice in Louisiana. I definitely prefer New Orleans, Lafayette, and Covington/Mandeville, but rather than sit around and bitch, I've embraced it and had a blast. Home is what you make it. I'm sure I'd have a blast if I was in Austin, NYC, or even Manhatten, KS, but that's just because I'm a fun person. Generally, most people who hate BR really don't hate the city as much as they hate themselves, traffic, or their family that lives there.
