We're looking into nanny share's because we're both afraid of how sick kids get at a daycare with 15+ kids.

Don't be too afraid. My kid went at 3 months. He gets sick but it is normal. His immune system is building up and he knows how to play with other kids.

I have friends that don't do daycare...kid still gets sick. There will always be tons of people in your kids life sharing germs. I think the best long-term plan is to build up their immune system and let them gain social skills.

For me it was
- $20/week formula
- ~$200 / month diapers butt wipes whatever else diapers.com sells.

Did not cut back on alcohol, but did on dinners out.

Speaking of which, find a good babysitter now.

Also - Daycare is great for their social skills. And all kids get sick no matter what. I've had 2 in daycare and the eldest is ready for kindergarten. I've never had / heard of anyone getting so sick that it ended up being anything other than a copay, with the exception of maybe an ER visit from an extremely overconcerned new parent (yeah that jackass was me).
