SIAP- New LHSAA director announced
To not interfere with football game contracts, i'd say 2017 if it does happen...

Only non district games have been agreed upon, district schedules will not be set until after reclassification meetings.

If split does come, most of the agreed upon games already set would stay scheduled and be played...

And yes the thought/fear of a split is slowig this down.

Keep in mind thtere are around a dozen smaller privates in la already playing in MS private association- who would lprobably like very much to play closer to home.

I look for 4a and 5a to get back together....w Curtis going back down to 2a or 3a

Which of course the 3a and 2a folks will want to remain separate

Yea, I guess 1 year of being humbled by actual competition in the playoffs was enough for those guys.

That won't happen. These schools are in their own league for several reasons.

Plus, these little schools would get murderized by say, a Brother Martin, a Oua Christian, A Calvary Baptist... Imagine a school with 180 lb OL-men going up against a John Curtis, an Evangel...

They would never agree to it.
