Not to be that guy but when Alabama loses a game they kill each other and send death threats to players. We don't come anywhere within that stratosphere and they still recruit better than us.

Their coach is a terrible human being who cuts players to make room for new ones and throws his players under the bus after losses. He treats them as if they are expendable. Our coach does the exact opposite because he is a 1st class human being.

So please don't give me that argument. Give me a competent offense that is consistent and compliments our defense and we can all be happy.

I've stated my opinion multiple times, what I want to hear is your thoughts. How do you think LSU can fix their offense?

New to the Rant? There is as much anti-Miles crap after a win as there is after a loss.

but Saban wasnt as successful at lsu as Miles has been.
saban at lsu- 2 sec titles 1 nc 70% in sec in 5 years

miles at lsu- 2 sec titles 1 nc 70% in sec in 10 years

tell me again how miles is more successful at lsu than saban. remember this, saban took a program that had 8 out of 11 losing seasons. miles took over a program that was 1 year removed from a nc.

You still didn't answer the question, you made an off hand remark about the Rant and some of the fools on it. My question was what in your opinion should LSU do to fix the offense?

I'm not a football coach. I don't have daily contact with the athletes. I don't know their strengths and weaknesses. I am completely unqualified to tell them how or what to do. This year played out pretty much as intelligent third parties expected that it would. If you want an intelligent answer to that question, I suggest you pose it to one of the staff.

Posting it here will not get you many intelligent responses. You are likely to get mostly hyperventilation, hysterical outbursts, mindless hero worship. If that is your aim, go for it.

So you wish to share your prescription for a cure?

yet coaching seems to be keeping us down.

This statement alone proves the point that negatigers have zero idea what they are talking about. Besides Saban what other coach in the sec has a better record and more championships than Miles. This also proves that negatigers are obsessed with Saban and Bama. If not why make the above statement.

I just got home and read the first 2 pages of this subject and I think every one would be totally happy if we equal what Bama has done over the last few years...just match them. I don't expect us to win out every year. We do have everything it takes t be on a par with Bama... currently the best overall program in the nation based on facts. And it totally rips my heart out to make that statement. And by the way, I really don't like Nick Saban. And yes,
people are obsessed with bama and Saban because the keep beating us now on a consistent basis.

So you are ok with firing Miles and hiring the coach that has matched Saban?

You can't even give your opinion? Just as a fan who follows football? Lol, did you just try to intelligently deflect?

Well I predicted we would finish 9-4/10-3 but we would have gotten Harris enough reps to take over for good from Jennings. The coaching staff did not allow that, and Jennings has not show any real signs of life or improving as a QB.

So we go into 2015 a year we should compete for the SEC and NC again without a QB and the Offensive line will be new so it was important that the QB was ready and experienced to play above that while the new OL came together. I think the most critical thing we can do is let Harris start and play against Notre Dame and get as many reps throughout the offseason to be ready. Otherwise if we stick with AJ as I'm sure we will we will be back here same time next season talking the same points.

Whatever it takes to compete with and beat Bama half the time. I am 70 and went through this shite for 20 plus years with the Bear and Charley Mac and now it is happening all over again... very frustrating. This may only be you first time. Which makes it worse is that we had taken the series over and now we have given it back.

I defer to those who know more than I do. Would a different blocking scheme be better? I don't know. Would different practice drills be better? I don't know. Would different formations be better? I don't know. Would different personnel be better, I don't know.
That's the point; I don't know and the hand wringers don't either. I don't have a wish list of points scored or who scores them. My wish list is pretty simple. I'd want LSU to score 1 point more than the opponent.

That is absurd. That is a panic reaction. Change for the sake of change almost always results in a disaster.

So basically these clowns want LSU to hire Tuberville.
