Yeah everyone had a landline and an answering machine. I remember having a piece of paper on the refrigerator with like 100 numbers written on it.

Yea and actually having to remember peoples numbers or use the phone book.
Also having to track over to the computer lab across campus if you needed to use the net for something.

That's another thing about cell phones too. Nobody really knows anyone's # anymore, outside of a select few.
