good points and bad points
Yes, I have in the past
He walked into a loaded team and had a better year than 4 of the previous coaches' 5 seasons. He did it all while navigating through the Katrina/Rita issue. What he did in 2005 to have the team playing the way it did is commendable and deserves to be recognized as a damn good coaching job, because the wheels could've come off that season in a hurry.
possibly true, but I hope you are wrong
I almost stopped reading after I saw this. This statement makes this rant laughable. Hudspeth can't win a the sunbelt with a team with better talent and experience. If our new standard is the NC, then let's at least not try to prop up the guy who can't win the Sunbelt Conference.
It has been proven that no one in CFB right now can, so if your argument to kick CLM is that he can't match Saban, then you will not have a football coach on your sideline until Saban retires. He's is the best in the game and will be one of cfb's all-time top 5 coaches ever. Funny thing is, CLM is the one coach who has a few wins over Saban.
Agree fully. He did nothing this year to earn a raise or extension and fear shouldn't be a factor in making the decision to give him one. He needs to earn it before he gets another year on the contract or money in his pocket.

Have you EVER felt that he was capable of CONSISTENTLY out-coaching his peers?

Do I think that he can match wits or desire with Saban...NO
