It's a meaningless bowl game. I can't believe this actually bothers you. We lost 4 games for crying out loud. How does the time that a 4 loss team plays affect CFB one way or the other?

Meaningless is subjective in this instance. This game, in my own, has meaning on a variety of different levels: player development, coaching development, recruiting, post-season exposure, revenue, etc.
It does bother me, yes, mainly because the team I support is playing during the middle of a work day. I am not the only one bothered by this.
