Miles has been our coach since 2005. All wins & losses during that time have been his responsibility. Don't give me that "last seven" nonsense. If his record would have been 4-8 his first year you'd be the first to blame Miles, not Saban.

They are what they are. If Saban's next seven are like Miles' last seven, they won't be happy with him at Alabama.

The same is true of Saban at Alabama. Still, if his next seven years are like Miles' last seven, they won't be happy with him at Alabama.

People pointing to the last seven years for Miles is like people pointing out Arkansas' 17-game SEC losing streak. Why pick 17 games for Arkansas? Because that's how many they lost before winning one. If they'd lost another one, people would have been talking about 18 games. Why pick 7 years for Miles? Because that's how long we haven't been an elite performing program. Next year, if things don't get a lot better, we'll be talking about eight years. And each year after that without a big change will add another year to the time we haven't been an elite program.

Also, when you're attempting to point out the unfairness of focusing on Miles' last seven years as opposed to all ten, keep in mind that the seven year period includes his best year in terms of record. If people were really trying to be unfair and discount all his good years, they would be talking about the fact that we are only 28-10 over the last three years.
