That's sad and puts a damper on my celebration. Volunteers are the lifeblood of a campaign and an accident like this is absolutely horrific.
So sad. Many prayers to that fine lady.

Is this true? I did read where a woman was hit and killed on a rural road in shreveport but I don't think it Was close to any piling place nor did the news say it was a woman canvassing

I'm sorry for this lady and her family. She died doing something she believed in, and that's always sad.

Sandestini was probably an eager, idealistic college student holding a sign with her whole life ahead of her. People need to learn to freaking drive.
