I've only beaten the first, but I think there's some worthwhile loot. You can co-op and it doesn't cost anything, besides maybe buying some materials to make them, most of which you'll find in the dungeons.

This game can be freaking buggy. In the middle of the boss fight, I got bugged through the fricking wall onto a ledge. That's twice that happened.
