Wife just got back from voting and said the wording on the airport tax was confusing and made no mention of the airport.
Sadly, this will confuse some people into voting no on what looks like some random new tax.

Acadiana/SW LA is an interesting area for the Senate race
even though it's highly GOP... parishes like St. Martin, Iberia, St. Mary, St. Landry, Evangeline, Cameron & Calcasieu went for Landrieu 6 years ago

Yeah, it was pretty generic and had some legalese in it.
I knew what it was for but I actively keep up with that stuff. I would have liked to see a little more of an ad campaign.

Same as OP. I use the airport a lot and believe it or not but the new additions will be extremely helpful.

I use the LFT airport several times a year and the airport in it's current state is a disgrace to the city. Very small and horrible parking
