Obviously it was a great win, and any team would be excited to pull it off. What I liked seeing, though, was how this team reacted right after clock ticked down. The coaches were not just happy, they all looked at each other at the same moment like they did it, and did it together. LSU looked like a team, not a collection of coaches and players who just won a game.

That may sound sappy, but it's been a long time since I've seen that spark in LSU basketball.

It's probably the biggest win in Coach Jones career. Hornsby came out on twitter and said that was the biggest win of his career. They get 10 days to work everything out and finish up the OOC 11-2.

If I knew we had to go 11-2 in OOC, we lost and won the games I think are best. We have shown we can beat good teams on the road and at home. We lost in the Virgin Islands where you can partially attribute it to having your heads in the wrong place and it's early.
