Agree, they are trying to become the poster child for what happens when you fire coaches for going 9-3 . Good coaches will not take that job because they know those 8-4 , 9-3 seasons happen to the best.
I predict they continue to be middle of the pack for the next 5-7 years until this guy gets fired.

They already did that when they fired Solich for winning 9 games just 2 years after making a NC appearance.
I think Riley is a really good coach, but not what Nebraska needs. Bohl would have been perfect for them, or another young guy who can recruit.
