I'd consider myself a pretty big Pink Floyd fan as well, but this album just falls way behind works like Meddle

Dear Lord.

Meddle starts out with a solid jam, then has a slow dragging number, 2 awesome songs (fearless is one of my favorites they've ever done), followed by what is widely regarded as one of the worst tracks they've ever put out. Then you have echoes which is great, but it's 25 got damn minutes. I'm a big floyd fan but at some point there comes a time where you're just done listening to a song.

To say that Meddle is "way behind" the wall is simply laughable.

Echoes may very well be the greatest Pink Floyd song of them all.

Meddle pound for pound is a much better album. The Wall is full of throwaway crap and always reminded me of a poor man's Tommy or Quadrophenia.
