Guys like brady Anderson and Bret Boone were late bloomers too
Anderson went from a career high of 21 HR to 50 HR at age 32

Boone was a 5'10" 180 2B who hit a career high of 37HR at age 32 then turned around and hit 35 HR at age 34. This after hitting HR in the teens during his 20s

It's crazy this generation is so oblivious to steroid use. So defensive. It has proven over the course of time to turn mediocre athletes into superstars at the top of their respective profession.

Baseball and football are not comparable. Steroids don't give a football player instincts like Watt has. They don't help him catch interceptions at the line of scrimmage (that most players couldn't even get a hand on). Steroids haven't helped him recover fumbles, catch touchdown passes, etc.
