I totally agree but we are talking about an 11 year old kid. I would have given it up in a second.

Especially such a small buck - not like there aren't a ton more deer around that the landowner could shoot.

I thought for sure this was going to be over a bigger deer.

I've always went by the rule of first blood. More times than not the second hunter would never had a chance had the first hunter not wounded it. Plus it's a kid and not a monster buck. What gratification do you get from killing a kids wounded buck? What a douche bag!
