Hire me and the first thing I would do is take a pay cut. I bet you think Les is underpaid. Anyway, part of my pay cut would be to find somebody to coach the offense. Les hired his buddy Cam Cameron instead of a young imaginative coach that knows more than the I formation apparently. Highest paid coaching staff in the land....gimme a break.

10 -3

AD and Miles are happy with 8 -4 and break even SEC records.

No doubt that we are simply fighting to be in the 2nd tier behind AL. AL will continue to rule the SEC. Saban may have 5 rings in a couple more games while Miles will stare at his one ring and ponder the past ........

RIght now - we have the 8th best SEC recruiting class. AL will have the #1 class again. Total domination on and off the field.

Terry, they are there as all of these impact Freshman and Sophomores that played this year will be beasts over the next two season. Your stars and difference makers will be Fournette, Dupre, Quinn, Melvin Jones, Hawkins, Pocic, etc. On D you will have Godchaux, Bower, LaCouture, Beckwith, Garrett, and a plethora of DBs headlined by Adams and White.

Can people look at the entire picture instead of picking one thing to complain about? Every person who follows the game figured LSU to lose 3-4 this season...and that is what happened. So now that it is over the world is coming to and end! We have had more underclassmen enter the draft these past two seasons than any team in college. Hell we were joking just a week ago that LSU's players from last season had 92 fantasy points on offense. There is where the offense went. So this year Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss and Miss State did better than us in the west. Ironically three of those teams lose their quarterback next season. Not to mention the big name players they will also lose. Our team is not as deep in players heading to the NFL early this season. The West will be different, a few teams will be inexperienced at quarterback. Next year will be the season we have to take advantage of the others rebuilding.

As long as Les remains in the 70's we will be average. He seems to have lost THE WANT!

our only hope is expanding the playoffs to 8 or 16 teams. hopefully they'll be a big enough push for it in the coming years. LSU fans should be shouting for it the loudest

"Ironically three of those teams lose their quarterback next season."

Guess what - AL already has a plan at QB next season. What does LSU have at QB? Either a very inexperienced Sophomore or a returning starter that should be in a mid-major college, at best. Plus an Arkansas State recruit with no Big major offers.
Sorry but some teams, like AL, simply move forward. Miles makes excuses.

Write a letter to Alleva. You must be a CEO or something to know as much as you do.

Blake Simms was an avg qb who waited FIVE FKING years to get his chance.

His size is same as AJ.
Arm strength is comparable.
Speed is comparable.

This is how stupid some of of you are, "Brandon Harris is/should transfer. , true fresh not getting all snaps, boo fricking hoo

With that said he's gotta get better.
There's no reason he can't have Simms like stats.
I think he's as good as that kid.

I wish they'd bring in chad Kelly and tell all three guys we don't have a starter for 2015.
Who wants it? Prove it to me

The A&M win is a great example of Les as coach. Win the turnover battle, nearly double up time of possession, and double up on yardage yet have to get a defensive stop in the final minutes to win. Never plays to win. His goal is to maintain the program at 8-10 wins and not lose. It almost feels as if Alleva has told Les that he will forever have a job as long as he gets to 8 wins.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but teams like Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Ole Miss, State, will probably never have the depth or coaching experience to win a NC. I hope LSU stays out of this group, but I'm not sure it will with the current philosophy.

Don't know if it's coaching or what but White has done a horrible job on punts. He seems confused as to "catch it and run", or "do I let it bounce" or "fair catch". I like him and think he COULD be good back there but something isn't clicking for him. And Fournette can't be the only option for kickoffs. He is not the answer there. Hell put Dural or Chark in. Someone a bit faster after the catch. LF is fast but he seems to build speed.

For LSU to compete right now and anytime in the future for a National Championship, then 2 things will need to occur...

1. Operate a fully functioning complete team
2. Have a little bit of luck

LSU needs to put it all together by running a balanced and efficient offense, stingy and disciplined defense while complimenting both with sound and solid special teams. If the team is going to be just a little deficient in one of these areas, then it better be exceptional in the other 2 areas! Once this occurs, then all LSU needs is a little bit of luck on their side.

Every CFB team that's won the NC in the past has had these 2 things in common... And LSU is No Different!

That's really the worst part. The highest paid staff in the country is not performing to those standards, and their ability to develop a qb is becoming extremely tiresome.
