Went to early vote. He had registered at college a week ago.
Anyway, he's not on the rolls yet, but they had him fill out another voter registration card again (hopefully he gets two votes next week).
Anyway, I guess a provisional ballot is only available on the actual election day?
And they were sticklers for ID. Kinda pissed my white privileged arse off.

He wasn't being disenfranchised, the problem is that most people in local government at the front lines really don't give a flying frick and have no particular reason to.
If Amazon Prime had been in charge he would have been voting within 5 minutes.

The last day to register to vote in the December 6th election was November 5th, by law. His provisional ballot will be thrown out if he only registered a week ago.
There is no white privilege in the voting booth. He still has to follow the rules.
