Les needs to realize that although it was a win it was nothing more than a battle to not be last place.

Find me the guy that claims we are now national champions because we beat A&M and I'll give him a piece of my mind.

No one is saying this game makes up for the 4 losses. However, it's very reasonable to find some hope going into the bowl game and the offseason from this game, as our offensive gameplan showed more imagination and wrinkles than it has all season. I'm hesitantly encouraged.

That's actually helpful. I love the cathartic effect the rant has (most of the time). I'm trying really hard to get on the Jennings bandwagon. He needs to put his doubters to rest in the bowl game. No excuse for a slow start.

I cannot seem to get on the wagon with Jennings because it just ain't got no movement.

I really wasn't trying to spark a major depressive meltdown...just saying I'm ready to support whoever the starter is...but I have an expectation that the starter will work his arse off to earn the respect of fans who have given more than a few second chances. Starts like this week don't cut it.

I'm been wrestling with this emotion for a while.

If you have to fight off being cranky after a win, you need to rearrange your cfb priorities. In 3-5 years from now, no one will care
how we won. They 'll only care if we won or not.

You have every right to be cranky. If any member of a team in which you have invested your self esteem doesn't live up to your fantasies it is only human to feel a little down.
Buck up. There is always next year and sooner or later some member of the team will fail to be perfect and you will have weeks and weeks of ammunition to come here and whine, cry and moan.

I'm kinda new on this forum...but I have a few questions for you Gray...

1. Would you be a good example of what people on this forum call "sunshine pumpers"? Just trying to get my bearings.
2 who made you the fricking paragon of virtue?

And a hearty fk u too gray!

I didn't see game......in Vegas....barely remember the week.....however, I heard Harris didn't play at all again. Great! Whoopee!

So two things will still be in place next year....miles and AJ.....that's not a recipe that inspires confidence. Hopefully Harris fixes all these "so-called" deficiencies he has.....if not.....he's needs to run and not look back.

So you are saying...accept miles, accept Jennings, and root for tigahs? Ok I'm down.

Now are you cool with me asking Jennings to fricking respect the gift we gave him with the starting job and not frick up another game start by being utterly unprepared?

Maybe we agree on more than I thought.

06....If you're really stupid enough to think that AJ is the answer then you're not as smart as I've given you credit for in the past. We've had this discussion before.....there is NO reason....zero....zilch....nada.....to at least give the kid a couple of series a game. I don't think he could possibly be as bad as AJ is at times.....so what could possibly be harm??? Can you explain that??? I'll hang up and wait.

Never once have I ever said that. And what does it even mean? We won, right? Well, I guess you didn't watch, so...

I'd be hard-pressed to find a time that would have been good for Harris to get in last night. What we were doing was working really well. Arkansas? He absolutely should have gotten in and I struggle to think of any reason why he didn't outside of some bit of information none of us are privy to.

Lost in all the rabble rabble Harris/Jennings rabble rabble in which you love to partake is that we actually had a coherent, unpredictable gameplan with added wrinkles, misdirection, etc. that we haven't seen all year. For that reason, I'm encouraged, regardless of which QB was under center.

Ill defer to you're assessment. I didn't see the game. I've watched AJ all year......as everyone has. He has looked like schit most of that time. It follows " Miles" logic that he will start the season next year. I'm sorry but that doesn't give me hope moving forward.

I'm glad we won....it keeps us out of shreveport which I'm actually glad for. But unless AJ makes some drastic and unforeseen improvement over the off season, then we're having this same discussion again next year this time.

1. I'm more of a person that doesn't like lynch mobs.
2. Virtue has nothing to do with anything, observation has.

So now that we have cleared that up, tell me what great depth of football expertise do you bring to the table.
