He seems like a good kid, but a 66.9 QBR against the worst defense in the league doesn't give me the warm and fuzzes. Glad we at least spread the field and let him run the spread option. Unfortunately, it appears Les took over the play calling in the second half and we shut that down.

And I'm not arguing that we stop the presses and that AJ has turned the corner - he clearly needs a lot more work.

However, he completed passes to 7 different receivers and went 12/21. Now - let's look at the 9 misses - 1 was the INT and most agree that was mainly on Dural quitting on the route at the last second (really after the ball was thrown). At least 1 or 2 of the other 8 were throwaways to avoid the sack and really not indicative of accuracy - and 1 or 2 were fairly well thrown balls and just defended well. So, only 4 to 6 were highly inaccurate passes, IMHO.

On the flip side, there were no outrageous circus catches that bailed him out, although Diarse, for sure, saved what could have easily been an incompletion. If the Dupre reception was better thrown (I think), he might have scored. Overall, his accuracy problems remained, but did not dominate his passing last night.

i really don't see how anyone can say he has improved after running on A&M...probably the worst defense in the conference. We choked in the red zone again having to settle for field goals. We better hope Harris doesn't transfer because the QB situation will be fricked for another 3 years if he does. It is almost derelict what this coaching staff has done to this program
