What's the point to any of this?
Traveling west would be crappy if there's only 2 or 3 teams in your conference. Baseball does 3 or 4 games at each location. Basketball does not.
I like the whole east vs west dynamic. American vs National conferences are nonsense these days.

I don't like anything that splits up the Texas 3. You can move them all if you want but don't split them up.
