We got to the blind 30 minutes after shooting time and shot 4 birds. 1 night in the lodge in South Louisiana, dinner, breakfast, and lunch $1150.
2 people
I didn't pay but damn I'd be pissed if I did!
Edit: and we hunted on public land!!

Why so late getting to the blind? Does not sound like any guided hunt I have heard of or been on (limited experience personally)

And we hunted on public land. I'm surprised this place is still in business.

Was it a wma? Fyi it's illegal to guide on WMAs, unless it's White Lake

People guide on Catahoula, fishing guides are public land. I went on a guided hunt in Arkansas and killed 25 mallards on public land. But yes, I'd be extremely pissed given the circumstances of OP. Bush league and unprofessional, especially getting to the blind late

Since we just spoke, you should put in OP that you were ready and waited in lodge for 45 min for them to leave.

They ferried 3-4 groups all out there to the mud boats at the same time. There Wasn't anything the individual guide could do per se. Cajun something or other. Guide was great, but yea It wasn't the best...
