Yep... with that said is "It's a wonderful Life" not a Christmas movie? For some reason I can only watch that movie at christmas time but it really isn't about christmas. It's more of a biopic told by an angel... Die Hard I can watch on 4th of July and still enjoy the hell out of it.

Angel (supernatural involvement) coupled with the setting on Christmas Eve - in effect, it is a reverse Scrooge parable - Scrooge sees what his life was, is and will be if he doesn't change, while George Bailey sees what others' lives had been if he wasn't there.

I say Christmas, primarily because of supernatural, implicitly Christian in nature, involvement.
