Are there any local options here in BR? I'd rather not use the store brands. Has anyone used Tramonte's or Chris's Specialty Meats? Any other good local references would be good. Thanks

Bergeron's in Lobdell. Stuff in Laplace isn't great. At least at Jacob's it isn't.

I've used Benoit's country meat block for 30 years and he's never disappointed.

10 mins from wilkinson bridge in addis.

I regularly use Tramonte's. It is some of my favorite. They call it hardwood smoked Andouille. I also use their regular smoked sausage. I highly recommend all of their smoked products.

Tramonte's

I bought Tramonte's andouille for the first time this weekend.

Looking forward to the next gumbo.
