Maybe Arkansas is just pretty good? Isn't that what this whole thread is unintentionally insinuating?
That's seems to be the game most people point to when they say Mississippi State peaked early.
FWIW, I'm really just playing a bit of devil's advocate here, because I do think Mississippi State has peaked. However, it's about entire body of work, right? We can't forget what happened early in the season.

I've said all year that Arkansas is good. Their losses were ridiculously close this season.
The commentator for the FSU game tonight really made a good point. He said that he has a problem with the committee just looking at the final score and strength of schedule and whatever. You know for a fact they aren't watching every game. They aren't looking at the nuances that make a team great, how they adjust, etc. I think that's a problem.
