The systems been that way for ages. If your good enough to win state you should be able to go on the road and win. And don't worry, we aint beating Destrehan.

"It's been that way" isn't a good excuse. Teams shouldn't lose HFA because another team they don't even play lost.
Technically under this system, it's best to be a 17-24 seed. One road upset against a beatable opponent and you are likely home the next two weeks against top 8 seeds.
