Most insurance covers vasectomies. Mine didn't even have a copay on it.
Procedure itself is relatively painless but you will be out of commission for a weekend, and working out will suck for a few weeks. I get random ball pain once a month or so, but not that bad.
I would just check with your insurance as to who does it, its outpatient procedure and takes maybe 15 mins.

Same here. I actually have titanium clips and I can feel them from time to time. Freaks me out. And yes, I literally have titanium balls!

Ten years after, had random ball pain and pissed blood. But, it went away.
