Great post. Pumpers don't want to hear this kind of thing, but most fans expect to win. Losing is acceptable if a valid attempt is made, which sure seems to not be happening lately.

Ha. I don't believe that the last 6-7 years have been a failure at all. I remember the 90's. 
I do however think we have underperformed.
Next. I threw Adams in there because he didn't start till about halfway through the season. You could easily change him out with any number of players over the years that should have started over someone else.
