P&N does not come close to E&Y, KPMG, PWC or DT for complex tax issues. Those firms will assign personnel from offices outside of Louisiana to deal with issues that are outside the experience of the personnel in their local offices.

That was my comment because he seemed like he had a relatively small business and as it grew P&N would be a firm to look at. If he wants to pay $250/hr for a staff accountant from Big 4 who doesn't know jack to do his return, that's fine.

The Big 4 has huge clients and they can handle the absolute most complex issues (SEC filings etc.), that doesn't seem to be his need.
