At this point, no he doesn't deserve to be. If we don't show improvement between now and the end of the Gold Cup, it will certainly be time to question the direction of the team. I think we can question that now, and I hope that JK is asking himself some tough questions or alternatively, knows something we don't know about what he's attempting to do in this post WC period.

This is the national team, man. What happened last year doesn't matter. He needs to show evidence that we are moving in a positive direction. That would be true if his name was Jurgen Klopp or Pep Guardiola.

I'm still a fan of his for these sorts of reasons, and I think there's a place for him in US Soccer whether or not he's the manager. I just want him to hold himself to that higher standard too, and if something isn't working, change it.
