If this is true, I wonder if the coaches said, "Hey Brandon, we would like to start you, but we want to see you stay after practices and put in the time in the film room and work with the receivers." ?

Would he really say, "Nah, I'm good. Thanks though." ?

There is some disconnect with both theories.
