Les' contract is so huge because of an incentive clause in his contract regarding winning the NC
quote:
It was never because of the "shite ton of games" that he won.
So it is incentive based (winning a championship_, and if he hadn't won a ton of games, we probably wouldn't have thought it necessary to give him a raise to keep him.
quote:
If his contract was win based, he would be second only to Saban.
So you are saying we are getting him at a deal.

You sure you graduated.
Without the NC, he probably gets more reasonable raises over time based on his production (wins). He doesn't get that huge bump that LSU has been paying since 2008. If Arkansas doesn't fake out Alleva in 2012, I doubt he gets his last raise. That NC has paid dividends for him in more ways than one.
I obviously don't think Les comes cheaply. Just shooting holes in your reasoning that his 4.3-4.5 is due to the shite ton of wins.
