I was just amusing myself with a mildly witty post.
My real two cents? You aren't that guy. That part is fact. You can be happy if you chose either path. That is also fact. It's all how you live your life. It's about the journey, not the destination.
We all do what we WANT to do in our careers. Our relationships with people are separate. Also up to us how those go.
