The most transparent administration since the continent shifted had to rely on artifice and deception to pass its signature piece of legislation, you can't make that up. He had to lie to people and then he justified it so I can't even get past the irony of that to get to the arrogance of him calling our fellow Americans stupid," Gowdy said. "I would say to the professor... you want to see how stupid the American citizens are take a look at last Tuesday night because they rejected you, this bill and this administration."

If Gruber was a republican I'm sure the IRS would already have him in their sights, but since he is a lib....ain't nothin gonna happen.

You want to get excited about his comments. But they are just empty words. Nothing is going to change. The shite sandwich just has a new wrapper around it.

Unless this goes before a committee, it's just a sound bite. If it goes before a committee that Gowdy is on though... :disgonbegoodgif:

Gowdy just became my favorite South Carolinian right after Toy Caldwell.

Arrest Gowdy. The 13th amendment makes it illegal to own people like this.

That's a beautifully packed smoking brick thrown through Guber's office window. You couldn't wedge another pejorative in there even with the Jaws of Life.

Gowdy needs to replace Boehner as speaker of the House!

I hope you're right. I'm just not going to get my hopes up until something actually changes.

Gowdy has no interest at all in that job. Boehner is running unopposed for the Speaker position this time around. It's a politically thankless, controversial, no-win, dead-end job and the last thing that would appeal to Gowdy.

Prudent way to look at it. I didn't belive ACA would survive the initial run through the courts but I was wrong. Of course I didn't know it was a tax at the time since I was lied too.
