You cannot be pro choice unless you believe that a baby in the womb is not a person.
I can think of one other time in American History when a certain policy was defended on the grounds that the "subjects" it hurt were not people. Actually, fetuses aren't even considered 3/5th of a person...

IMO, if anything dictates human vs non-human or person vs non-person it would be consciousness or the existences of a functioning central nervous system.
The idea that a 3 week old mass of cells smaller than a pinhead is a "person" is laughable. It is the "potential" for a person as is every bit of seed spilled by the avid porn fans of the OT. The fact that it just so happens to have combined with an egg is asinine and arbitrary to me.
Metaphysically if "I think therefore I am" a 3 week old fetus "is not".
