People are too greedy around the holidays. I am not going to tip someone who is not in the service industry (mailman, UPS, trashmen) for doing their job. I don't get a tip for doing mine. If I go out to eat sure I will tip the waitstaff a little more, but that is about it.

I would tip the maid and the lawn guy a little extra (just quit using them due to moving), but that's about it. I've got multiple mail men, never seen the UPS or FedEx guy (even when I'm home, the ring the bell, drop the box, and high tail it back to the truck. Doesn't deserve anything anyway), never seen the garbage man, etc. This is the first I hear of anyone ever giving money to these people at the holidays. I know the checkout girls at the grocery store better than most of these people, should I give them money too? Where does it stop?
