That chant made it all the way around the stadium to us in the north endzone.
1/4th~ 1/5th the stadium was chanting "frick You Saban".

I don't understand how it's even debatable-chanting "f you Saban" is one of the rudest, trashiest, most embarrassing thing LSU fans have done, and it's up there with STTDB. 
I think it's a shame that it occurred, and it's even more unsettling that people are still defending it. It's classless and makes us come off like a bunch of uneducated sore losers. I don't know if it's a crowd mentality thing or what, but I know that a lot of those students' parents raised them to be more polite than that.

I remember the student section chanting "F you Auburn" in 2001.

This really has no bearing on the debate of whether it's acceptable or not though. Plenty of things change over time. I wonder what the students will do if they lose tickets. I guess they can yell STTDB at the Pmac.

I don't know when trashy curse words started to litter the student section, but I do know that there are quite a few that have sprung up in recent years.

The "kick their arse!" chant is decades old. I was taught it at my very first LSU game.
